I’m a public speaker, writer, podcast host of the Tell it Proud podcast about ethical and cultural stories too good to erase or ignore, a performer, and founder of The New Quo which is a leadership development and behavior change training company. Through entertaining proprietary storytelling and leadership frameworks, workshops, events, and content I teach interpersonal leadership skills that elevate values, improve wellbeing, and balance power dynamics across teams, organizations, and communities. I’ve trained over 25,000 people across 9 industries with my storytelling and leadership frameworks that uses neuroscience, inclusion principles, and narrative intelligence to help people identify the ethical and cultural wisdom and leadership lessons within their lived experiences and the key messages to tell from those moments to inspire action. I’ve been featured in the NY Times, Forbes, Business Insider, and Nasdaq.com among other outlets. As an Utah native and resident of NYC for the past 15 years, I know far more uses for jello than I’d like to admit. I also run The New Quo Learning Community which provides weekly emails and monthly facilitated conversations on ethical and cultural wisdom being attacked and erased from overlooked cultural history, pop culture, social justice books, and original poetry on social issues.
