The TED story
I was introduced to TED Talks by a schoolmate. After 10 years of separation, we reconnected, shared ideas, interests and a piece of future, as we were both moving to New Zealand. She also introduced me to TEDxEQChCh curator Kaila Colbin and her team and I became a volunteer straight away! After two years volunteering at Christchurch events, I met Elliott Blade and became part of TEDxAuckland team. Mainly as Community Events organiser, I also coordinated volunteers at TEDxYouth@Auckland 2013 and I was part of the Production team at TEDxAuckand 2014. The variety of roles I've undertaken within TEDx events, together with working with other TEDx organisers as Kaila, Elliott and Arturo Pelayo, propelled my passion about TEDx and its capacity to unite communities.
