I'm passionate about
'm passionate about creating bridges — not just between languages and cultures, but between seemingly disconnected domains of knowledge, experience, and human potential.
An idea worth spreading
Education is not about filling a vessel, but about igniting a flame; not a one-way transmission, but a two-way dialogue. True learning happens when cognitive boundaries are gently dissolved, allowing knowledge to flow freely across disciplines.
Areas of expertise
Cross-cultural Communication & Parent Engagement, Educational Innovation & Program Design, Event Management & Public Speaking, Student Development & Mentorship
The TED story
My journey with TED began not on stage, but in the heart of the audience—as a volunteer for TEDxShinan from 2016 to 2018. It was there, amidst the buzz of speaker rehearsals and the energy of idea-driven conversations, that I witnessed firsthand how a well-told idea could dissolve boundaries and rekindle curiosity. Hosting the 2017 edition, “智存彰远” (Wisdom for a Lasting Impact), was a turning point. I wasn’t just facilitating an event—I was building a space where educators, innovators, artists, and thinkers could step out of their silos and into meaningful dialogue.
That experience deeply shaped my own work in international education. At Grand Education Group, I began designing what I now call “permeable classrooms”—learning environments where East and West merge, where language isn’t a barrier but a bridge, and where students are encouraged to bring their full, multidimensional selves into the process of learning. Just as a TED talk can condense profound insight into minutes, I strive to design lessons that don’t just transmit knowledge—but transform perspective.
Now, I feel it’s time to bring a TEDx of my own to life—one that mirrors the fusion I seek in education: a stage where a scientist might inspire an artist, where a community activist can learn from a cognitive psychologist, and where local stories resonate with global relevance. I see TEDx not as an event, but as an ecosystem—one that, like all meaningful learning, thrives on connection, curiosity, and the courage to explore the unknown.
My TED story is still being written—and I’m excited to help others write theirs.
