Bio

My full name is Aryan Chowdhry. I've been born and brought up in the National Capital Region of the country and currently, I reside in Noida. I have done my schooling from DPS Noida and I also happen to top my school in 2 subjects i.e Economics and Business Studies with a 100 and 98 respectively. I hold a diploma degree in the French language i.e the Delf A1 and A2 which is accredited by the Embassy of France. I am an avid learner who is tactful, articulate, and confident. I know how to get my work done and how to effectively communicate with people. I think of myself as a target-oriented person who understands how team dynamics work and exhibits leadership qualities. As of now, I'm a second-year student at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, University of Delhi where I'm pursuing Bachelor of Management Studies. SSCBS is one of the most premier undergraduate institute and has been awared the 'Best B-school' by India Today Group. Currently, in college, I am the coordinator of Management Interaction Cell which is involved in corporate outreach and involves reaching out to corporate professionals across all domains and interviewing them on various subjects. Also. I'm the Director of Operations at 180 DC SSCBS, which is a student-run consulting firm with over 100 branches globally and started in Melbourne. 180 DC provides valuable insights and creates an impact for firms who otherwise can't afford expensive consultants. Now, moving on to my strengths. Firstly, I think of myself as a team worker. Since childhood, I've been exposed to how team dynamics work, be it through Team Sports, Projects, or any other team-building activities. I make it a point to interact with my team as much as possible to have an idea of what their goals look like, what my goals are, and to make sure to align all this to the collective goals of the organization that we're working with. Apart from that, I possess strong interpersonal skills. Over a period of time, I have honed my communication skills to a desirable professional level at which now I feel confident to talk to almost anyone; be it a client, a friend, a teacher, etc. I exhibit leadership qualities, whenever I've been given an opportunity I've made it a point to step up and take the leader's role. I feel that the primary reason for this is my ability to be an impactful conversationalist, and apart from that being a person who is always there to listen and cater to the needs of the team and the people around me.

I'm passionate about

Sports are one of many things in my life that I am enthusiastic about, largely because of the competitive element it provides, which constantly drives me to develop. Sportsmanship, enthusiasm, and the growth of the will to never stop are key characteristics that bloom any game, and one must internalize all of these qualities in their daily life to make it worthwhile to live. Another lesson I've learned from sports is that winning and losing are inevitable components of any game, and this applies to life as well. You dust yourself off and try again the next day, regardless of the outcome. It is the procedure that is most important. The outcomes will follow if you stick to the procedure. My affinity for finance and management led me to pursue Management Studies from one of the most coveted colleges across the country. Pursuing the course has expanded my knowledge base and made me work harder than ever, as I strive to earn the qualification. I am driven by my passion to make a change in society, and it is this innate passion of mine that has ignited my desire of organizing a TEDx event. I’m also fond of impact consulting, and this fervent desire to do so has acted as a catalyst for me to be a part of the world’s largest student run pro bono consulting firm, 180 Degrees Consulting. Apart from this, as a leader, I have also organized various workshops, webinars and a one-of-its kind case competition (Case-ino Royale) which helped me shape my personality as a true leader and made me realize my flaws, on which I diligently worked upon to make sure to overcome them and turn them to my favor. As for my insatiable desire to interact and democratize knowledge, I have held various podcast episodes, wherein I have invited numerous people from different organizations across the globe.
