About Ananya

Bio

I’m a software developer by trade, but most passionate about design and product building. I recently founded HealCycle, a social venture tackling the intersection of women’s mental x reproductive health. Currently in private beta, HealCycle is building India’s first PMS/PMDD focused mobile app and community. See more: www.healcycle.com. An outspoken menstrual equity and period positivity activist since the age of 17 (see her TED talk here: go.ted.com/ananyagrover), I graduated from Princeton University in 2024 with honours in Computer Science, alongside minors in Cognitive Science, Technology Policy, and Creative Writing. I believe in the power of technology developed with and for the public interest. In response to concerns about media polarization and misinformation, I wrote a thesis examined the use of LLM-powered chatbots for pro-social applications for online news consumption. I built and evaluated PRISM: an AI tool designed to assist individuals in quickly accessing alternative perspectives on news. Get in touch with me to talk about femtech, startups, news media, precision health, advances in AI, cognitive science or anything else!
