Ravichandar is Chairman & Managing Director, Feedback Consulting (www.feedbackconsulting.com), a leading research based consulting firm in India. Feedback has undertaken over 2400 studies, particularly in assessing market opportunities for leading Indian and International clients including consulting assignments regarding setting up of new ventures in India. Feedback has enabled over US$ 6 bn investment decisions by providing key insights for Indian and foreign firms about the Indian market. Ravichandar has also been a member of the Bangalore Agenda Task Force (BATF), a public-private partnership, where he has contributed pro bono on initiatives regarding urban infrastructure, governance issues, fiscal improvements and on enhancing quality of life. He has set up www.ideasforgov.org, a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative for improving quality of life in urban India. Ravichandar along with three others was involved in evangelizing the setting up of the US$ 12 bn Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission fund by the Union Government for 63 cities in India. He currently is a strong proponent of City Connect (www.cityconnect.in) that gets industry involved in issues of urban governance. Ravichandar also runs a free portal www.seniorexperts.org to connect retired professionals with job and volunteering opportunities. Ravichandar has a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad with over 29 years industry experience.
