Dr. Rakhi Radh Krishna

Dr. Rakhi Radh Krishna is an educator, writer, philanthropist and a social worker. She has worked as Assistant Professor of English in reputed colleges in India, and has conducted seminars, conferences and workshops in national and international levels. Dr. Krishna has presented many papers in national and international conferences and has published research papers in refereed journals. She has worked with Tanal Charitable Trust, Kerala to help students from low socio-economic backgrounds to earn government job through PSC exams. Over the past few years, she has been associating with a few other NGO's that focus on empowering differently-abled people.

The importance and the power of knowledge and education

I always looked up and admired the change-makers in our society. The fascinating thing about TED is that it brings together such great-minds in one platform. I heard about the impact of TED from my colleague and, from then on, I made it a habit to watch TED Videos regularly and started interacting with people who have volunteered for TEDx events. The more I hear about TED, the more I want to be a part of it.
