Bio
My name is Uday Sharma, and I have completed my graduation in Bachelor's of commerce from the Government Bikram College of Commerce under Punjabi University and my post-graduation in master's of commerce from Panjab University, Chandigarh and currently pursuing my second master of Business Administration. A creative head - I've always been a keen mobile photographer and to make the best out of it, I'm also a poet and blogger who love to think and write on his Instagram and WordPress to convey my thoughts and emotions through words. I've always been an adventurous person who would go for a trek and travel solo to different cities interacting with people coming from different phases of life. On weekends, I volunteer at the NGO 'Robinhood Army' Patiala team where our team conducts food drives along with the education drives. I have been associated with Robinhood Army team for the past 18 months.
I'm passionate about
One thing I'm really passionate about is mobile photography - I love to capture human emotions and architecture. Photographs are the universal language of our era. We carry a lot of photographs in our pockets. The photographs tend to preserve the memories, bring out the reality of what was happening around us at that moment, what a specific individual was doing at that time, and act as a peephole throughout our history. Photography can defeat time. What fantasize me more is the post-editing that goes after a photograph is captured, I love to play with the tools at hand to tweak the photographs.
For me, Photography is to capture the light, the dark which drives me to tell a story that is happening around me. It is about an effort to travel, to find stories in the things that tend to be ignored by the eye, and to convey it to the people with passion. Photography is about spreading happiness among people by capturing them in their natural habitat. Every set of eyes have a story to tell, a story to capture, and photography act as a tool. Photography is about perceptions to me, how we hand a camera to one and how and who they capture.
Another thing I'm passionate about is writing poetry and blogs as I can make them raw and meaningful. I put a lot of emotions in my poetry because it helps me feel like I’m someone other than who I am. I am passionate because of its influence on my personal life and how it has sparked my imagination and enriched my language skills.

Things you might not know
I believe I'm good at writing. I not only enjoy writing, but I think I have a gift for it. I personally believe that good writing cannot be taught. You can take a good writer and teach him to be a great writer, but you can't take a bad writer and teach him to be a good writer. I wouldn't call myself a great writer by any means, but I do think I'm good. Writing is something that comes naturally to me. I don’t even have to think about it most of the time. Being able to communicate through writing is important with any career, especially management. I am very creative as well. Ever since I was in high school, I’ve always been into reading novels and coming up with new ideas. I write to take my mind off of other things and unlike other subjects, where there is only one true answer, writing has no single answer! There are infinite interpretations to any subject matter, and you get to make what you write perfectly tailored to how you wish it to read. Sometimes it is hard to get into words what you feel inside, but when it is just me and the paper I am able to translate everything into something meaningful. Another thing I'm good at is photography. Many feel that photography isn’t an art nor should it deserve as much attention as paintings because it’s relatively easy to get into photography. Anyone with an image-capturing device can get started with photography, that makes it fun and personal for everyone. Yes, you don’t need talent to take pictures, but unless your goal was to make photography your art medium, there’s nothing wrong with just snapping pictures with no concern on technicalities nor aesthetics. I remember being fascinated by my photographs of nature and human emotions. I could look at a macro image of a flower and see grains of pollen and delicate details that typically went unnoticed. I could look at a photo where people smile, laugh and cry. Everything was photo-worthy, new and interesting. At this point in time I enjoyed photography because it gave me the ability to capture scenes from my life to remember and study.
