Bio
Mike is an attorney who enjoys working with media and content and addressing the intellectual property issues that arise in connection with such creative works. He is also an experienced transactional attorney. Prior to joining TED, Mike worked at a boutique intellectual property firm, where he counseled clients on brand and content protection, enforcement and licensing. Prior to that, Mike worked in the Technology Transaction Group of a large international law firm, where he advised clients in connection with a variety of complex transactions, including M&A, capital market and financing transactions.
Mike is a musician at heart who plays the bass guitar, ukulele and mandolin. He previously toured the U.S. with a rock band and won a MTVu Woodie Award for Best Music on Campus in 2008. In his spare time, Mike enjoys traveling, playing basketball, horror novels and martial arts.
