About Pal

Bio

I am a student voluntarily sentenced to a life of curiosity, and a business developer who believes the business of business can be (and is) much more than just business. My career has been very colorful for the last 30 years, working as a programmer, portfolio manager for venture capital firms, a game designer, an entrepreneur in the field of edtech, 3D printing, digital product development, and energy communities, as well as an innovation catalyst for energy, telco, and financial companies. I am the science and tech curator of TEDXDanubia, one of the oldest TEDx events, since 2009.

I'm passionate about

I am a resource, a transformer, and most of all, a father. A friend of life, robots, and non-zero-sum games. Someone who believes facts, knowledge, and understanding to be more important than the easy answers. Especially now, when our pursuit of efficiency becomes almost a religion, when convenience seems to triumph over ideals, consumption over happiness, opinions over facts, and media over truth. I am working to make science more accessible and inclusive, to help people understand the relevance of science and its impact on our lives. To find a way and form that does not burden those involved but rather becomes an opportunity.
