Bio
Shauna is a writer, strategist, and the former CEO of IDEO.org.
Over the past two decades, Shauna has helped dozens of organizations surface insights about human behavior, shape narratives that inspire action, and translate ambitious ideas into durable impact—working across health care, technology, education, refugee rights, justice reform, and more.
A social scientist by training, storyteller by trade, and designer at heart, Shauna holds a degree in Linguistics with a minor in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
She also serves on the board of For the People, a national organization dedicated to bringing greater dignity, humanity, and healing to the U.S. justice system.
