Emma Olohan holds entrepreneurial, SME & large company experience. Her business skills have crossed over three different industry sectors; Recruitment, Luxury Retail, Travel Retail, Aviation Training & Education, Marketing & Event Management, Brand management - FMCG and Grocer, & Education over the past 17 years. Her roles have included General Manager at Casey Recruitment (Brown Thomas group, Dublin Airport Authority, Debenhams, Arnotts, HOF, and more), PR & Marketing manager at College Ireland Aviation, Senior Marketing Account Manager, and Project Manager - MPM Project Management (Dublin Marathon Expo event, VHI Women’s Mini Marathon, Competitor Group Dublin event, FMCG brand events, ). Emma's more recent projects focus on Marketing Consultancy, she is Executive Director of a Marketing consultancy specialising in customer activations. This experience underpins her innate understanding the journey any entrepreneur enters into when starting his or her own business. Her leadership skills are accentuated by her memberships and associations. Emma is a full member of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland and an advocate for Access to Education for All- Life Long Learning. Emma is also part of the Global Board Ready Women Initiative and a member of the Organising Panel for the ICEP National Education Conference. Emma Lectures in Dublin in Dublin Business School, among others. Lectures include Event mgt, Business, Marketing, PR & Advertising & Sales Mgt. I enjoy being a part of learners lives- tomorrows movers & Shakers + Todays thinkers & business changers!

Working for what matters- watching peole around me happy in what they do and how they do it. I get a buzz from success; family's success; other peoples success- strangers sucess- my own success. Lecturing helps me share the areas of work and life I care about- and to watch amazing people develop in these areas, I am always absorbing so much enthusiasm and spirit from learners in classes- buzzing when I leave. Energy and Passion is contagious and in my classrooms you find its a two way street. Seeing Happiness light up the dark corners of life. Helping people get there..to whereever 'there is' . Working with really good people, saavy, thikkers- those who I know are going to change how we work and live. Exciting and animating- and gernally I'm passionate about being free to think and speak about the areas of life I enjoy, work I enjoy and learning I enjoy- , ultimately appreciating that not all of us get that basic privilege!

Change the 21st Century Business World- everything about how it operates! Take it from Dan PInk - I am on board with spreading this idea and it is one worth spreading. "There is a mismatch between what science knows and what business does. Here is what science knows. One: Those 20th century rewards, those motivators we think are a natural part of business, do work, but only in a surprisingly narrow band of circumstances. Two: Those if-then rewards often destroy creativity. Three: The secret to high performance isn't rewards and punishments, but that unseen intrinsic drive-- the drive to do things for their own sake. The drive to do things cause they matter. And here's the best part. We already know this. The science confirms what we know in our hearts. So, if we repair this mismatch between science and business, if we bring our motivation, notions of motivation into the 21st century, if we get past this lazy, dangerous, ideology of carrots and sticks, we can strengthen our businesses, we can solve a lot of those candle problems, and maybe, maybe -- we can change the world."
