Mariya is an engineer, entrepreneur and investor in AI and deep tech companies and co-author of Applied AI: A Handbook For Business Leaders (1st edition, 2017; 2nd edition, 2024). She helps Fortune 500 and leading tech companies productize AI research and design functional and delightful AI applications.
She's passionate about designing real-world systems that amplify AI and human co-creativity, and is especially interested in learning more about AI applications to advance education and lifelong learning since she's mom to 3 little ones, including 1 year old twins!
