Kalomoiris Giorgos

Iam George Kalomoiris. I was born in Anogeia, a small historical town of Crete (Anogeia situated near the top of the biggest Island of Greece in the east side of Mediterranean) where and I grew up. I have finished my undergraduate studies at UoC in the department of History & Archeology. Then I continued my studies as post-graduate firstly in the AUEB ( MD in Evaluation of Greek and European Economy after Global Crisis) and secondly at Open Hellenic University in the Dept. Management of Culture (MSc). I have been also awarded with three scholarships, two during my Undergraduate studies and the other one during my PostGraduate studies. During the last 8 years, I am working as an Archeologist at Zominthos excavations, part of the top ten most important excavations globally. I also have a master deggre in translation of Mycenean Linear B litterature. It is also important to share with you that during my Undergraduate Studies I had internships in the most important Museums in the City of Athens ( National Archeological Museum, Acropolis Museum, Benaki Museum, National Art Gallery) but this also lead to be nominated as an the Academic Curator of the Archeological Center of Information, based in Anogeia.
