Svati Bhogle is a seasoned professional with a strong focus on sustainable development and technological interventions. With a background in promoting sustainable development through organizations like Technology Informatics Design Endeavour (TIDE) and Sustaintech India Pvt Ltd (SIPL), Svati has honed expertise in renewable energy, water management, women empowerment, and livelihood improvement. Through mentoring roles at TIDE and Sustaintech, Svati has demonstrated a commitment to bridging the gap between research and grassroots initiatives, fostering rural enterprise opportunities through low-carbon technologies. Additionally, Svati's involvement with the Clean Energy Access Network showcases a dedication to advancing distributed renewable energy solutions. Through their work, Svati aims to create sustainable livelihoods, promote environmental conservation, and empower marginalized communities.

I'm passionate about

Improving heat energy access to small, rural, post harvest and artisanal micro enterprises s that burn firewood, help them to reduce energy costs and thereby contribute to reduction in CO2 emissions and also to arrest deforestation.

An idea worth spreading

Science and Technology must improve lives of poor people, those living in remote rural areas and also metros. This can be enabled only if scientists can spend time with needy people, understand their needs, interpret them scientifically and innovate to meet needs. Scientists must also collaborate with social entrepreneurs to take innovation to needy people and help them thrive.Science must be a tool for empowerment and better lives
