An idea worth spreading
The world around us has been focusing on the importance of equality.
In relationships, among families, in organisations.
Equality is great, but in a way, there could be a thin line of difference between equal contributions and forced equality.
I fear that forced equality can lead to broken communities. So what’s the solution?
Equity can take the place of equality and enable harmony.
We need to understand the respective needs of the individuals and provide people with resources and opportunities accordingly.
The communities around us can thrive much better if we actually shift our focus to equity.

The TED story
I have been a TED buff since 2009 when I first saw a talk by Pranav Mistry and the potential he showed on the stage of TED Conference in India. Since then, I have followed TED and the content the platform has created. I thought of organising my first TEDx event only after half a decade when I attended few of the leading TEDx conferences in my country. I believe the potential of these ideas is phenomenal and the power to spread ideas which can inspire any soul is magnanimous!
Things you might not know
writing poems and making couplets on any topics you would want me to. I can also be good at playing Chess and listening to people.
