I'm passionate about

Functional Medicine, Medical Clowning, Sailing - Taking part in sailing competitions at a national and international level and representing my country. I also enjoy working with children ,teaching dance and theatre. Natural Birth, parenting my 4 year old

An idea worth spreading

Most people believe that it is impossible to pursue a professional course like medicine and excel in sport at an international level. I believe that it is important to expose a child to various forms of art and sport as it is these things that help make the child a better and all round human being. Plus the child will then figure out what he/ she is good at and then decide if they want to pursue it further.

Areas of expertise

The TED story

I was nominated to become a TED fellow by Pragya Alekal in 2009. At the time I had no idea what TED was, so I applied anyway...and was lucky to have selected to become a TED Fellow. I attended TEDIndia 2009 and it was an experience that changed my life. I met some of the most incredible people and opened my mind to so many things out there. And things just opened up for me after that. I am ever so grateful to be part of this community.
