I have worked in Conferences since the Millennium and have an unswerving passion for all things content. Nothing excites me more than a day full of speakers delivering real value to an audience. My day-to-day job involves researching, developing and producing the programmes for conferences in Europe, the Middle-East and Asia Pacific and I currently specialise in producing the content for congresses designed for International, European and UK Associations. I have always watched TED and TEDx talks in awe, I have always wondered how it’s so possible for so many to inspire so many, so consistently and I have always wanted to be a part of the TEDx community. When I put my passion for where I live with my passion for delivering content it seems like a natural progression to design and produce TEDxTotnes, which is why in September 2014 I decided to apply for the license to run TEDxTotnes and here we are. The project has started with a flourish of enthusiasm and I am thrilled that we have already enlisted some wonderful individuals to be a part of the team all of whom, like me a clear passion for both TEDx and Totnes. I am enjoying every moment of this process and look forward to working alongside the wonderful TEDxTotnes team to help deliver “In our hands” on 9th October 2015.
