Wajdi Maaloul

Student

I am Wajdi Maaloul, a 16-year old hard-working, ambitious student. I am a rising junior (3ème Math) at Ariana’s pioneer high school. If I had to describe myself in five words, I would say I am a self-reliant, resilient, gregarious, straightforward and conscientious person!

Living in a community of inquisitive, ingenious youngsters, I always wanted to have a consequential impact on their mindset, leaving my fingerprint somewhere on their everlasting thoughts. I was seeking ways to make this desire come true until I met a group of synergic team members, sharing my same vision for a bright future of Tunisian youth. Ever since taking part in the organization of the “Outside of the box 📦” TEDxPiloteAriana event, the TEDx events have genuinely enthralled me, provoked my thoughts, changed my life’s perception, and made me foster significant leadership skills: from the habit to anticipate unforeseen technical problems, to the way in which one may attract speakers/ sponsors. That being said, I am eager to harness this concept as a powerful tool to bring forth novel ideas and push the event’s attendees to reflect on unwonted, revolutionary concepts in a variety of disciplines.
