Venezuelan, mother of 3 boys, Chemical Engineer of profession and brand builder at heart. After working 15th years in multinationals FMCG companies designing and selling goods I decided to work on creating products that truly serve consumers without harming the environment and without over-changing consumers with the cost of single use packaging, inviting consumers to reuse their packaging instead of recycling. This is how EcoCarga was created in 2018 in Chile. We are a start-up that brings the circular economy principles into the home care industry to redesign the value chain of the products with technology that allows consumer to receive quality products environmentally friendly and most importantly 50% cheaper (because we take out the cost of the single use and intermediate packaging to consumers). We have learned over these 3 years that by offering consumers cheaper products we are truly driving consumer conversion to the reuse habits. 80% of our consumer based came to EcoCarga for the first time because we offered a good value proposition and we believe it is our job to teach consumers the importance of reuse practices, become environmental conscious and why not pay less for the products! We consider ourselves the first solution in Chile that is conscious with the environment and also with consumers wallets. So far we have 41 stores in Chile where consumers refill their home care products. 95.000 clients constantly reusing their bottles saving 86 tons of plastics. We are looking for investors to expand in Latinamerica in 2022.
