About Mike
Bio
Mike joined Kimberly-Clark in 1994 and was with the company through the transition to Halyard Health, now part of Owens and Minor since 2018. He is responsible for leading global manufacturing, sourcing, procurement, and contract manufacturing for Owens and Minor’s Products Division, including manufacturing operations in Lexington, NC; Del Rio, TX; Asheville, NC; Williamsburg, VA; San Pedro Sula, Honduras; Acuna, Mexico; Nogales, Mexico; Kells, Ireland; and Hat Yai, Thailand. He also leads the Shanghai contract manufacturing, sourcing, and procurement team that leverages Owens and Minor’s vertical integration to serve our customers worldwide through the HALYARD* and MediChoice® brands. In total, Mike leads a team of over 13,000 medical device product supply professionals that are focused on savings lives every day.
Mike also serves on the Advisory Board of the Medical Device Supply Chain Council. The council is a network of senior industry executives who are focused on opportunities to improve medical device supply chains by focusing on global supply chain issues facing medical device companies and taking an end to end view of supply chain from manufacturers to care givers.
Mike currently serves on the board of MedShare. MedShare is a 501c(3) humanitarian aid organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of people, communities, and our planet by sourcing and directly delivering surplus medical supplies and equipment to communities in need around the world.
Mike served on the Board of Directors for the Alcorn County United Way from 2003-2005 while also serving as the President of the Board in 2004-2005.
Mike has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida with a Minor in Business. Mike recently completed the General Management Program at Wharton Business school with a focus in Finance.
Mike is a Master Trainer of Culture of Accountability and has personally trained over 5000 people on that program.
