Georgia Stewart

I am the CEO of Tumelo, a platform for shareholder democracy and investor activism. Tumelo works with the largest investment platforms and pension providers in the UK, including L&G and Aviva, to give ordinary savers a voice through their investments. Before Tumelo, I studied Natural Sciences (Conservation & Climate Change) at Cambridge and worked in sustainable investment for various asset managers, as well as for Fauna and Flora international. I’ve been lucky enough to sail across the Atlantic and I love to run. My secret passion (and dissertation topic) is rewilding, so feel free to ask me about wolves instead of finance.

Across the UK & US alone, 275 million investors hold over £50 trillion in workplace pensions and personal investment products. Most of their money is invested into funds. As a result, fund managers control majority stakes in the world’s most influential companies These companies feel untouchable and yet, we own them. By 2030, every investor will have a shareholder voice.
