Lesley is a recent MSc in Entrepreneurship graduate from UCL school of Management and has over 10 years of experience working with startups in the food/beverage, cosmetic, and renewable energy industries across Africa. His entrepreneurship journey has gotten him the following recognitions thus far; -African Youth Energy Innovator of the year 2019 - Finalist at the Sustainability Exchange Youth Innovation Challenge by the International Monetary Corporation, IFC 2019 -NEXTGEN in Franchising global competition 2017. - Runner up Innovator of the year award by the Aid and International Development Forum 2019. -Third price at the Nigerian Energy Forum 2019 -Obama Leader Africa 2019 He is also a Tony Elumelu Foundation/UNDP entrepreneur, finalist at the 2018 African Entrepreneurship Award, Alumni of the Clinton Global Initiative University and a Chevening Alumni. Lesley is open to new opportunities especially with organisations with a mission for social impact. He is about to starts an NGO called AfricaNeedsYou which will be geared on training African entrepreneurs and would-be entrepreneurs on how they can come up with sustainable business ideas/ solutions that will lead to holistic development of the continent and the world at large.

Making the world a better place for the present and future generations to come through holistic and sustainable value creation. I am extremely passionate to help organisations and businesses in developing and executing programs/ products with social impact to solve the world’s most difficult problems.

How will they believe if they’ve not heard? A global curriculum on sustainability should be included in our school curriculum at different levels. The governments and educational institutions can make it compulsory for everyone. If 80% of the world’s population is informed about how their acts as individuals, companies and a society can make or mar the ability of the present and future generations to live on earth, they will all become actors in the net zero agenda.
