I'm passionate about

I have always been fascinated by space technology. And for the past couple of decades the advancements in this field has been exciting, making rockets affordable and much more versatile. I do believe, as suggested by several experts, that the next century will be driven by a space economy. In such a world, a large portion of the working population will move to space, undertaking major building activities that will propel the human race into the next level of technological advancements. Having moved such a large population away from earth, will decrease the stress exerted on our planet and will accelerate its healing process. I want to take up an active role in this vision. I am particularly interested in designing and setting up the next generation of modular nuclear reactors that will power our cities and bases beyond our planet.

The TED story

The TED philosophy of “ideas worth spreading” has always stuck with me. So when there was a volunteer call for a TEDx event in my college, I had no second thoughts. As my interests were in writing and content, I was assigned to the Editorial Team. My tasks ranged from making speaker invites to content for posters and online promotion. Every job required me to think differently and come up with different types of ideas and content, which I never knew I could. Since there was a diverse array of volunteers, the whole process was an exciting learning experience. It taught me several important skills such as planning, team management and communication just to name a few.
