The TED story

I don't know when exactly i discovered TED. In the 90s I had heard of this mythical conference in Monterey with all these cool people with all these cool ideas. Then, in 2007, a friend urged my to apply for a license for TEDx. We thought we would start small like an unconference. We ended up doing the best work we had ever done in our lives. (I switched pronouns on purpose.) My actions led to the involvement and action of others and together we made something amazing. To me, THAT is the TED story and it is m story. And I'm sticking to it.
