I'm passionate about

I have always been deeply interested in community development, and I believe that it is the foundation for building a strong, resilient society. I am passionate about identifying the needs of communities, working with stakeholders to develop solutions, and implementing programs that will have a lasting impact. By bringing people together and empowering them to take ownership of their own development, I believe that we can create lasting change and build stronger, more prosperous communities. In addition to my interest in community development, I am also committed to sharing ideas that have a positive impact. I believe that knowledge should be accessible to everyone, and that by sharing our ideas and experiences, we can learn from one another and create a better world. I am always eager to listen to the perspectives of others, and I am constantly seeking out new ideas and insights that can inform my own thinking and work. Finally, I am deeply committed to contributing to the progress of my country. I believe that we all have a responsibility to work towards the greater good, and that by coming together and working towards a common goal, we can achieve great things. Whether it is through community development, sharing ideas, or working towards larger social and political goals, I am always looking for ways to make a positive impact and help move my country forward.

An idea worth spreading

In our rapidly advancing and technology-centric society, many people experience a sense of disconnection from themselves, others, and nature. This can lead to feelings of anxiety, disengagement, and a lack of direction. To tackle this crisis of meaning, we must strive to foster a profound sense of purpose and connection. This involves discovering meaning and contentment in our personal growth, relationships, and careers, and also connecting with concepts greater than ourselves, such as spirituality, community, or service. Moreover, we must acknowledge that our own well-being is intrinsically linked to the welfare of others and the planet as a whole. By working together towards a more just and sustainable world, we can discover our purpose and meaning in contributing to a larger cause that benefits society as a whole. By sharing the concept that cultivating a deeper sense of purpose and connection is crucial for personal fulfillment and resolving global issues, we can motivate individuals, groups, and communities to prioritize practices that promote self-growth, community-building, and social and ecological responsibility.

The TED story

Before TEDxLAUTECH, TED talks have been a wellspring of inspiration and motivation for me as a medical doctor in training and a global health advocate. Through these talks, I have been exposed to groundbreaking concepts, exceptional practices, and novel ways of thinking about health and healthcare. I have gleaned knowledge from experts and trailblazers in diverse fields, spanning from public health to technology, and have been moved by their originality, unwavering commitment, and fervent zeal for bringing about positive change. I have discovered that TED talks are an invaluable tool for keeping myself up-to-date with the latest advancements and most effective methodologies in global health. Talks such as "The Future of Medicine is Personalized — Here's Why" by Euan Ashley and "Why We Need to Talk About Depression" by Kevin Breel have encouraged me to think deeply about how we approach healthcare delivery and to contemplate innovative approaches to addressing multifaceted health challenges.
