I am currently a student of the post graduate program in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore. I believe one of the key skills for becoming a manager is self awareness. In my college I have been eagerly part of several important events such as business conclaves, guest talks and seminars, but the most fascinating one so far has been TEDxIIMIndore. Before enrolling for my management studies I was working with PayPal. I am a keen travel enthusiast and have visited seven countries in Europe and have been an eager mountain hiker as well. I completed my undergraduate education from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and grew up in the city of Joy in India, Kolkata.

Technology, traveling, exploring new cultures and learning new business ideas.

Being a big fan of fine arts, I believe infographics convey more meaning than written text. This is also because our brain is capable of simultaneously processing multiple information, but sadly by presenting the entire data in form of a text, we often end up under utilizing the capacity of the human brain. Modern education should move towards techniques that appeal to all five human senses to make learning a unique experience. This is my personal big idea that I firmly believe in. Surely technology is a powerful enabler in this direction.

My first TEDx event that I organized was TEDxIIMIndore. The most fascinating talk that I heard during this event was that of Dadi Pudumjee. The fact that human mind can be convinced to suspend its disbelief through an ancient art form like puppetry, and this could become an agent of change for society, left me astonished. I cherished every moment of the talk where he animated simple day to day inanimate objects like a school bad, a pair of foot wear, a Styrofoam puppet to convey a story with diverse interpretations.
