Abdulaziz Pulatjonov is a Java Backend Engineer at Tune Consulting, where he develops large-scale financial technology systems serving millions of users in Uzbekistan. Alongside his work in software engineering, he is pursuing an MSc in Applied Economics at Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT), focusing on the intersection of economics, technology, and public policy. Abdulaziz has been an active member of the TED community since 2021. As the founder and licensee of TEDxWIUT, he has led the organization of numerous TEDx events, bringing together speakers and ideas that inspire innovation, leadership, and social impact. Beyond organizing events, he enjoys connecting people across disciplines and creating communities centered around learning and meaningful conversations. His interests span technology, economics, artificial intelligence, and public policy, with a long-term goal of contributing to evidence-based policymaking and expanding access to knowledge through technology.

My TED journey began in 2021 when I founded TEDxWIUT as a university initiative. Since then, I've organized multiple TEDx events, collaborated with volunteers and speakers from diverse backgrounds, and experienced firsthand how powerful ideas can bring communities together. TED has shaped the way I think about leadership—not as holding authority, but as creating opportunities for others to share ideas that matter.

Designing communities from scratch—whether it's organizing TEDx events, building student initiatives, or bringing people together around ambitious ideas. (And yes, I also enjoy cooking.)
