Driven by the belief that education should evolve alongside the world around us, I am an educational leader focused on reshaping the student experience. Since 2005, I have championed the integration of emerging technologies to support diversified, differentiated instruction that inspires creativity. By placing student agency at the heart of learning, my goal is to foster the deep understanding, critical thinking, and resilient problem-solving skills the next generation needs to shape the future.

I am passionate about creating forward-thinking learning environments that empower students through agency and emerging technologies, a mission I have championed as an educational leader since 1998. Off-campus, my focus shifts to a quieter kind of cultivation: nurturing the delicate growth of orchids and enjoying the calm company of my three Persian cats, Neko, Gargamel, and Sherman. Whether I am guiding teachers and students toward innovative problem-solving or spending a relaxing afternoon at a local café, I thrive on building meaningful connections, exploring diverse global perspectives, and gathering around a great weekend barbecue with close friends.

Too often, modern classrooms use powerful software and screens simply to deliver traditional instruction in a digital wrapper. We have upgraded the medium, but students remain passive consumers. Agency shifts the dynamic from "tell me what to learn" to "how can I explore this?" When we prioritize autonomy, engagement skyrockets. Technology's true value isn't digitizing textbooks; it's turning classrooms into laboratories of diverse paths. Armed with accessible tools, one student can manipulate a physics simulation while another builds a 3D model.

My TED story is rooted in a deep belief that local communities hold the insights capable of shifting global perspectives. Since 2020, I have committed to bringing world-changing ideas to light by organizing and co-organizing TEDxYouth events in Indonesia, including serving as the lead licensee and organizer for TEDxSWA Youth events. From navigating the complexities of virtual connections in 2020 and 2021 to orchestrating major, concept-driven live stages in recent years, my mission has always been to build a platform that elevates the voices of tomorrow's leaders. For me, shaping a TEDx stage is a seamless extension of my life's work as an educator. It allows me to foster environments of profound curiosity, exploration, and discovery where the next generation can confidently share their unique identity with the world.

People don't know I'm good at the slow, precise art of cultivation outside the fast-paced demands of educational leadership. While my professional life is dedicated to driving innovation and shaping international school frameworks, my quiet talent lies in nurturing the delicate, complex growth of orchids and grilling an authentic, perfectly timed traditional barbecue for close friends. Balancing the patience required to help rare flowers thrive with the detail-oriented focus it takes to master a charcoal grill allows me to recharge, proving that whether I am designing an academic curriculum or managing my personal hobbies, I find true fulfillment in the rewarding process of helping things grow.
