I’m an Educator and Engineer with a passion for teaching and technology that provides impact in the world. I believe in knowledge, passion, and kindness to change the world, I aim to develop scientifically informed, caring, and responsible individuals who can think analytically, critically, and creatively and make informed choices about themselves, the environment, and society. I have always been a multitasker and have always enjoyed learning from various domains which I felt always helped me. I initiated multiple projects where I brought together a community – for teaching projects for low-income communities in under-resourced schools in an attempt to inspire them to explore various possibilities of education. I believe that as a human, my primary responsibility is to make a positive impact on the lives I am in touch with. I leave no opportunity to utilize the cognitive surplus of people for community good.

I am very passionate about new ideas/innovations, helping people realize their potential and think bigger. I love learning new things, I use what I learn and I share it with others to help them benefit.

The importance and the Power of Knowledge and Education

I came across a TED talk while participating in an intercollege event. I listened to the TED talk of social activist Sunitha Krishnan and Georgette Mulheir who has been strongly involved in empowering women who are marginalized by mainstream society. I was inspired by the ideas shared and was very much moved by the plight of women in our society. I truly believe in changing the world for the better which drives me to be a part of the TED community. I am inspired by TED Talks simply because they entertainingly deliver thought-provoking ideas, and represent an excellent way to reach out to the members of society, thereby promoting active involvement.
