Kyle Flynn

I am a Junior at the University of Akron. I am pursuing majors in Marketing & Sales management as well as minors in Entrepreneurship and Computer Imagery. My intentions for college are to learn, make friends and connections, and become a better person. All the endeavors I embark on receive the full attention of both my heart and my soul. My goal in life is to be a beneficial impact on the world to change it for the better.

I am passionate about pursuing my love for entrepreneurship, by creating products and services that have only positive affects on people and the world we live in. I love to learn and explore new ideas

Solutions don't have to create more problems.

I was introduced to TED Talks a few years ago. After a while, I began to watch them on a regular bases. TED Talks provide me with the information and knowledge about new breakthroughs and innovation throughout the world that I have always craved. TED changed my life over a few short years in more ways than I can count. When I found out there was a TEDx organization on my campus, I jumped at the opportunity to be apart of something this big. A year later I have the honor of being the same organization's president . I have two more years on this campus left, and I want to give the amazing people of Akron the spectacular TEDx events that they deserve while I'm still a TEDx event organizer. My goal is to learn as much as I can and pass that knowledge on to the lucky students that come after me. This year we have received our license renewal for our main TEDx event and have already been diligently working to make this event and others possible. We currently in the process of adding 3 more events for this year by applying for the a TEDxSalon licensure. In preparation for the help needed for planning of such events we have already made additions to our team staff and restructured the organization. We believe that our efforts to accommodate such events we result in some rather spectacular events for our Akron community to enjoy. Wish us luck!
