RAVI KAMBHOJ is an award-winning curator, director, producer and marketing professional. He has worked as a senior executive at J. Walter Thompson, Lowe Lintas and Grey Worldwide, among India's top five advertising agencies. Ravi moved to New Zealand in 2000 and worked with a few prestigious production houses, including national television TVNZ in New Zealand. In 2007, Ravi established ‘Festivalists’, a Festival and Events specialists agency in New Zealand which became a very sought-after agency in a short time. Ravi moved to Sydney/Australia, in 2011 to curate one of the most prominent South Asian Arts Festival called ‘Parramasala’, funded by the state government of New South Wales in Australia. He also established ‘Festivalists’ Australia operation in Sydney and worked with prestigious organisations such as ‘Australia Museum’, Sydney Film Festival, and Seymour Art Centre. Ravi now lives in Goa and is instrumental in creating fantastic events and festivals under Festivalists. PechaKucha Goa is one of the monthly events in Goa, organised by Festivalists under the guidance of Ravi Kambhoj.

I'm passionate about creating impactful and memorable events that foster community engagement and promote sustainable and innovative ideas. Specifically dedicated to: Sustainability: emphasising the importance of sustainable practices, especially those rooted in local traditions and cultures, such as traditional Goan agricultural practices. Community Engagement: Building a sense of community and leveraging local knowledge and stories to inspire and educate. Innovation and Tradition: Balancing the preservation of cultural heritage with the integration of modern technology and innovative approaches. High-Quality Execution: Ensuring that every aspect of the event, from planning to execution, meets the highest standards of quality and professionalism. In the rapidly modernising world, traditional agricultural practices are often sidelined in favour of more industrial approaches. My talk will focus on the rich heritage of Goan agricultural methods, emphasising their relevance and potential benefits in today's context of sustainability and environmental consciousness.
