Bio

Sathya Raghu is the co-founder of Soul Forest, a pioneering initiative that transforms degraded land into thriving ecosystems. Soul Forest follows a bold 80-20 model—80% of the land is restored as a biodiverse reserve, while 20% is used for nature-aligned living and livelihoods. Previously, Sathya co-founded Kheyti, a climate-smart farming venture that won the Earthshot Prize. He is also the author of Dear Earth, a heartfelt book that explains the planet’s journey and the climate crisis through conversations with his children—making complex ideas accessible, personal, and hopeful. With a background in finance and a deep commitment to ecological regeneration, Sathya builds systems where nature and economy grow together. His mission: to make restoration scalable, investable, and rooted in long-term community value.

I'm passionate about

I am passionate about turning degraded land into thriving ecosystems, building nature economic zones, unlocking regenerative capital, and proving that nature can deliver both impact and returns.

An idea worth spreading

That nature is the world’s most undervalued asset—and it’s time we built an economy around restoring it. At Soul Forest, we’re creating Nature Economic Zones: 80% wild zone , 20% economic zone. Biodiverse reserves that generate returns—for investors, for communities, and for the planet. This isn’t about planting trees. It’s about making regeneration a market force. Because when nature starts appearing on balance sheets, that’s when the planet starts healing—at scale.
