Bio

Beth Sturgeon develops systems to capture and analyze metrics that inform decision-making, identify opportunities and celebrate success. This had included development of Portico, Google's Healthy Materials Tool. Beth is the Analyst and Operations Coordinator for Google’s Real Estate and Workplace Services [e]Team, which integrates insight and resources into design, construction and operations, so the organization can deliver extraordinary environments, experience and ecology. Prior to joining Google, Beth held positions at Mary Davidge Associates as well as wildlife research positions through the USDA Forest Service, the Lomas Barbudal Capuchin Monkey Project, Hawkwatch International and the Golden Gate Parks Conservancy. She holds a degree in evolutionary biology from Northwestern University. Personal interests include backyard beekeeping and volunteer work at the local animal shelter.
