About Lyn

I am a…

Business mentor, Global soul, Philanthropist, Technologist

Bio

I am an active philanthropist committed to providing equal opportunities for under-served youth. I believe that inequities they experience today should not determine their future. I was a pioneer in the world of interactive technologies and traveled extensively to the Asia-Pacific region in the early days of the computerized mapping and the internet. My technology career spanned more than 35 years culminating as CEO of AOL Australia’s joint venture company with Bertelsmann AG. I retired from AOL in 2002 after a year-long battle with cancer. That year, I decided it was time to give back after focusing exclusively on my career for decades. I had already established a small private family foundation in 1996 and used that platform as an entry to philanthropy. Today, I devote time to community service and philanthropic activities. I am passionate about the need to provide equal opportunities to girls and young women and dedicate time and talents towards mentoring. My current passions and service include Take Stock in Children, WMFE 90.7, Orlando Shakespeare Theater, 100 Women Strong, and Celebration Foundation programs.

I'm passionate about

Mentoring high school, college, and young entrepreneurs.
