many things including STEM and other aspects of my life. I love to see new ideas evolve from an abstract concept to an innovation that could potentially change the world

An idea worth spreading

One of my favorite "ideas worth spreading" via TEDx is the water-less bath. Although this talk was given a while ago, it was one of the many talks that continued to fuel my interest in TED. A water-less bath would not only save thousands of individuals in countries where water is scarce, but help to conserve water. This video along with others from TED and TEDx events have been my inspiration for many projects that I have tried, including a Biotechnology Design event from Technology Student Association. It has also inspired me to continue thinking of potential ideas. Since I was young, I enjoyed brainstorming ideas, no matter how ridiculous, that could possible benefit human society. From an umbrella that opened between a car and the car door to block rain to a touch screen window, I have enjoyed coming up with my own ideas inspired by others.

The TED story

My interest in TED began long before I had even discovered what it was. It was so long ago when I found out about TED, a single TED or TEDx Talk shown by someone who I don't remember now. The TED(x) talk could have been on anything, an invention, idea, or simply knowledge, but since then, I have uncovered numerous different TED Talks. After my first encounter with a TED Talk on YouTube, I remember exploring and searching for more. To me, it seemed like a vast library of knowledge. To this day, I still watch TED talks online as my time allows.
