I'm passionate about
I am passionate about education & entrepreneurship. I started Blackboard with the vision to improve teaching and learning worldwide. I am pursuing both by building a company that affects education.
An idea worth spreading
There is no best practice on how to teach; people learn differently. However, I believe that more hours of teaching does yield better results and we should be seriously considering how to extend the school day and the school year. I also believe that the best ideas come from entrepreneurs -- people with the dream of how to improve or change what exists today for the better.
