Bio
Janice is a General Partner at the Women's Equity Lab in Vancouver. An early stage investment fund, WEL is a collaborative fund of women only investors looking for innovative companies with leadership from all genders.
Janice was previously the founder and CEO of Neurio Technology, now acquired by Generac, it was a hardware / software company that monitors home energy consumption and breaks it down into individual appliances... and whether you forgot to turn off your oven. Still used today by individuals, utilities, and energy companies like Tesla.
Janice has been the recipient of recognitions and awards, including Most Promising Startup by the BC Technology Industry Association and Top Technology Company of BC on Rocketbuilder’s Ready to Rocket Cleantech List. She was also recognized by Business in Vancouver’s Top Forty under 40 Awards and in the Westender’s 20 under 29 for achievements as a young entrepreneur.
