About Suryansh

Bio

"Be the Change you want to see." This is a statement that has always appealed greatly to me. Pursuing my various interests has allowed me to wear several different caps- Researcher, Marketer, Manager, Writer, Engineer and Strategist. From working in a rural village with the Government of India, to a struggling start-up, to a Manufacturing Factory at a Forbes 20 most admired company. I have always thrown myself at opportunities in areas I'm passionate about. As a result I find it easy to be a part of multi-disciplinary projects and to navigate tough challenges. I love making new professional acquaintances. Touch base if you want to discuss ideas, technology, entrepreneurship or football.

I'm passionate about

I'm passionate about contributing towards creating a better society. I love amassing new experiences, acquaintances. Also Love traveling, hiking, playing football (any sport really)!

An idea worth spreading

I believe that man is a social animal and his sphere of consciousness should be larger than his personal self, and instead should extend to include all in his surroundings. The community we live in plays an important part in shaping our personality and has provided us with an immeasurable amount of opportunities, and knowledge. In my opinion, this exchange needs to be a two-way street for sustainable development. Every person should look to pay-back to the community and offer their two-cents towards improving and shaping their environment. Cause after all, 'What you leave behind, isn't written on stone monuments, but woven into the hearts of people you've touched!'

The TED story

I have invested quite a bit of my time experiencing TED videos and I can safely say it’s one of the better investments in my life! I say experience, because you don’t just watch a TED video, you live it. It has inspired and motivated me when I felt low. It has picked me off my procrastinating backside and set me moving. It has entertained and informed me. Even today, TED.com remains one of the most viewed sites on my browser, and is my ‘go-to’ point for a plethora of emotions. These are the few of the many benefits I would like to share with my community. Due to its structure and format, a TEDx event is packed with nourishing knowledge and entertainment (I call it brain-food), compressed into tiny 15 minute capsules that can be consumed with ease. Having organised a TEDx event once, I know the impact it can have on people, to just flick the switch on in their mind. And even of it results in just one bulb coming on, the world would have become a brighter place to live!
