He is Managing Member of QBI, LLC a leading administrator of corporate retirement plans and payroll services. Current and previous civic and charitable affiliations include: President of the Board of Los Angeles Fire & Police Pension Department, Commissioner of Los Angeles Fire Department, Commissioner of Los Angeles Planning Department, Board Member of Girl Scouts of the USA, Executive Board Member of Los Angeles Music Center, Executive Board Member of LA Opera, Governor and Board Member of Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History, and Board Member of United Way of Greater Los Angeles. Nick and his wife Amanda have five children.
