Steven Wozencraft

Steven Wozencraft, Executive Vice President The John D. Evans Foundation, has spent the last 30 years of his career working with NGOs and not-for-profits. He is the former President of The John O'Donnell Company, a New York financial development firm established in 1966, which specialized in helping NGOs and not-for-profit organizations. As President of the John O'Donnell Company he oversaw the development of organizations by helping them build capacity and raise over a billion dollars collectively. Steven currently serves as Chairman US Department of State Fine Arts Committee and as Executive Vice President of the John D. Evans Foundation. He has served on the boards of organizations around the globe, and he has assisted causes including The Boys Club of New York, Catholic Charities of Brooklyn and Queens, the William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Foundation, the Harlem Boys Choir, the Jewish Board of Family and Children Services, Empire State Pride Agenda, Kids Peace, and numerous others. Steven currently serves on the boards of the Vet Voice Foundation, the Bretton Woods 2 Initiave at the New America Foundation, Institute for Human Virology at the University of Maryland, and Atlas Corps. He is a past board member of South Coast Medical Center, University of Michigan Center for Global Health External Advisory Board, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, Positive Young People and Friend Factor. His work on international development includes being an organizer and initial founder of the United Nations Nexus Global Youth summit supported by UNDP, a Founding Member of the Clinton Global Initiative, a member of the Fine Arts Committee for the Diplomatic Reception rooms of the U.S. Department of State, a member of TED, and an inaugural member of the White House Next Generation Leadership program. As a member of the U.S. Department of State Partners Committee for the Global Equality Fund (GEF), he worked directly with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Secretary Kerry and now Secretary Tillerson to raise funding and awareness of GEF's work. In 2012, Steve was selected as a Co-Chair for the 2012 OutServe Service members Legal Defense Network National Dinner, celebrating the end of the U.S. Department Defense's Don't Ask Don't Tell policy.
