Bio
Born in Athens, Greece and obtained a BSc and a PhD in Geosciences from the University of Patras, Greece.
Currently a Professor in Mineralogy and Petrology, in the Geosciences of the Faculty of Science, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD).
Director of Research, Office of Assistant Vice Chancellor (Research), UBD and has served several administrative positions in the Faculty and University
An active Researcher with over 150 publications in peer-reviewed journals, Proceedings of International Conferences and Books, interested in soil geochemistry, chromites and platinum-group minerals and petrogenesis of mafic/ultramafic rocks.
Principal Investigator of 15 Projects sponsored by International funds and private sector and member of the Research Team in 9 international Projects.
Established and manages the Laboratory of Mineralogy, Petrology and Geochemistry (MPG), Faculty of Science, UBD
Have established joint research collaborations with scientists from Canada, Austria, Italy, USA and Greece.
