The TED story

My TED story began with a bold dream: to bring the transformative power of TED to Trinidad and Tobago, igniting change and inspiring action in my vibrant homeland. In 2021, amidst a whirlwind of challenges and first-time event jitters, this dream became a reality. Organizing the conference was no small feat—navigating logistical hurdles and overcoming skepticism tested my resolve. Yet, it was the inspiring potential for change that propelled me forward, transforming challenges into opportunities for growth and impact. The event itself was a manifestation of community and innovation, featuring a lineup of speakers whose stories resonated deeply, sparking conversations and inspiring attendees to take action. The experience was transformative, not just for those who attended, but for me as well.
