I'm passionate about
All things relating to the intersection of connection, well-being, and work. I love talking about how we can amplify creativity and ingenuity in the workplace by cultivating resilience and psychological safety, and improving interpersonal connection by attuning to the needs of teams.
I enjoy teaching corporations about how we can cultivate connection and belonging, how mental health impacts our day to day lives, and how to support neurodivergent employees in the workplace so we can all self-actualize to our highest potential.
I’m also passionate about by the far reaching impacts of trauma, and how trauma is a universal experience that affects us in all life domains.
An idea worth spreading
We’ve focused so much on Emotional Intelligence (EQ) that we’ve neglected to develop our Relational Intelligence (RQ).
Relationships are widely recognized as the bedrock of positive wellbeing in our professional lives, but many struggle to know how to navigate the pitfalls and nuances of connecting with
others at work.
Relational Intelligence helps us to adapt our responses to what people need, understand how life experiences shape people, and repair relationships when ruptures happen.

The TED story
I was invited to attend TED 2022 as a thought leader, and it was a life changing, transformational experience. I was moved and inspired by the world class change makers delivering messages that will alter the trajectory of our future as a society. I fell in love with Vancouver, and more importantly, I fell in love with TED's mission.
I'm excited to lead a Discovery Session at TEDWomen 2023 on The Science of Resilience, and I'm looking forward to sharing how we can optimize our resilience in order to successfully maneuver the inevitable challenges that we all will face.
Things you might not know
Playing the drums. I was the drummer of a heavy metal band for almost 10 years, and I was the only female, woman of color drummer! I'm also a great cook, and I love to sing.
