Bio

I love thinking broadly | collaborating with people | achieving ambitious goals | learning and interconnecting knowledge. When the work is meaningful, there is no need for breaks.

I'm passionate about

I am very passionate about having a broad range of understanding, and I grew up watching TED videos during my teenage years. My dream to organize a TEDx conference stemmed from those times as well. Now, I am proud to be involved in a student organization, and at the university, that has finally the perfect platform to do it. I enjoy spending my free time with a good book or painting. However, most of my time is occupied by studying Computer Security and running the student organization as a president. Next semester I will be starting my technical internship in the UN, where my sense of responsibility and belief that people should be offered opportunities can come to use. In the past, I have been a part of a wide range of volunteering experiences, from being a workcamp leader to IT conference organizer to student ambassador.

An idea worth spreading

Inside the mind of a master procrastinator (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=arj7oStGLkU) I have been reading Tim’s blog waitbutwhy.com since 2014, and just a few years earlier, I fell in love with the TED platform. Bringing those two together was my peanut butter and jelly of ideas.

Areas of expertise

Computer security, Cryptography, IT, Team leadership

The TED story

Current pandemics greatly affected all student organizations. Many of our events had to be cancelled or transformed. We realized that the TEDx format is an ideal format for bringing the university together while maintaining the high quality of the event. And now we are on a journey of creating our TEDx event. Fingers crossed! :)
