Bio
Ali Reza grew up in a small town in rural Georgia and later moved to the city of Atlanta to attend Emory University where he studied Economics, Philosophy, and Religion. After completing his degree, he worked as a management consultant for the year following graduation and is now a part of the EdTech Rotational Program at Mentor Collective; based in Boston, MA.
Outside of work, he is passionate about increase opportunity to higher education for underrepresented students. He cares deeply about many social issues such as healthcare equity, environmental sustainability, queer rights, and helping ex-prisoners reassimilate into society. In his spare time, he is an avid college basketball and NBA, loves hiking, outdoor activities, reading, and conversations about philosophy.
Long-term, Ali Reza hopes to work in the area of Social Impact through a Venture Capital or Private Equity firm or to explore the field of nonprofit and philanthropic consulting.
