Bio

I am a student in Shenzhen University, majoring in Golf Management. I knew TED simply because of the love of learning English. 2 years ago, I found there are so many great resource in TED, and both English and Chinese subtitles. But what inspire me most is the idea that TED trying to share, and it just changed the way I thought about education and the way I learn a language . So, I created a English Club myself. I believed the best way to practice a language is to share. We watched video together in the club, and talking about it, and trying to share what we learned to others. By this way, I want more people could find the enjoyment of sharing, and learning. In my Junior year, I applied for being an TA for an english class in our college. I designed the handout myself, and what I encouraged them to do was to draw what learned in the handout. I wanted them to organize what they learn instead of memorizing them. And the inspiring part was, we created a feedback system between the teacher and the students, and we found more students start to expect having the class. In most of the class in our University, they don’t do really well in the interaction between students and teachers. They just come to the classroom and then go, so it’s really low efficient. That’s why I did this project which lasts a whole semester. Besides, I have great passion in drawing, and I believe when art and learning (education) mixed together , amazing things would happen. I made a little comic books that helps people to memorizing the vocabulary that related to our major course.
