Hey, I'm Kyan, a multi-disciplinary creative. Creative Director, Singer/Songwriter/Producer, Filmmaker, Consultant and Activist. My work is primarily centred around articulating and exploring difficult subjects and the way in which art can facilitate change both within ourselves and society. Through this art I attempt to answer the question how can I affect positive change - rather than just creating the illusion of affecting positive change by merely creating a bigger echo chamber? I think the intersectionality of the issues we face as a global community : gender, race, capitalism, the environment - is key to building empathy, understanding and ultimately progress. I believe in the power of art to achieve incredible things, it's a great unifier and if we can find artful and interesting ways to have difficult conversations, I think we unlock the key to creating action from apathy.
