Active philanthropist for last 20 years. Started straight out of college. Primary interest is the nexus between biological and cultural diversity. Passion for philosophy, art/design with regard to language/systems. Cofounded Synchronicity Foundation, Synchronicity Earth (Uk Charity), and Flourishing Diversity (Network). Board of Synchronicity Earth, Synchronicity Earth USA and Wildscreen. Patron of Nature for the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and Honorary Conservation Fellow at the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) Strategic Advisor for the Environmental Funders Network (EFN), Action for Conservation and Conservation Optimism.

I am passionate about being in service to the future generations, while holding and acting in the complexity of the present, and acknowledging past wrong doings and embedding ancient knowledge: we have to move forward, boldly and urgently, but with care and wisdom. I am passionate about being a human being, and doing better. I'm passionate about orang-utans and all species, their rights to exist and their intrinsic value. I am passionate about embodied living and synchronicity.

Thinking ecologically, we know that diversity is our best assurance against uncertainty - - more possibilities exist, making the weave or the web of life stronger. We also know that when they are working together, cultural and biological diversity are mutually enhancing - they support and uplift each other. So, if we want to move beyond the current ecological crisis, the concept of creating, or cultivating, or manifesting flourishing diversity offers a way forward. I see it as an antidote to the harm done by the monoculturalisation of contemporary culture and our current consumption patterns.
