Bio
Max graduated from the University of Warwick (United Kingdom, 2006) with a Masters of Physics (MPhys Hons). After graduating, he joined the European Space Agency as a Systems Engineer for a life-support project aimed at extracting and recycling CO2 exhaled by astronauts. During his time working on the project, he planned and conducted laboratory tests on CO2 sorbents tailored to low concentration environments. In 2010, he co-founded Skytree where he has authored three patents related to atmospheric CO2-capture techniques.
I'm passionate about
Space exploration, flattening the carbon curve and communication technology.
An idea worth spreading
There used to be 12-14 trillion trees on our planet. The number is now closer to 4 trillion. Based on the amount of unused land and agricultural area, rewilding efforts could allow us to replant an additional 2 trillion. Not only would rewilding to such an extent represent a huge carbon sink, but it would also provide much-needed habitats to wild animals.
